Pet Sitting Policies
Pet-sitter will only provide care to pets that are friendly, healthy, non-aggressive, non dangerous or poisonous. Home must be free & clean from fleas – ticks – pet feces – other bug infestations and refuse.
Pet-sitter will care for domesticated pets as follows: dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses & turtles. Pet-sitter will not care for snakes, spiders, rats, alligators, iguanas or any other potentially dangerous reptile or domestic pet.
Pet-sitter will perform on contracted tasks & services made between pet parent & Elite Pet Sitting. Extra fees may apply on additional tasks or services requested by pet parent on last minute changes and or after start date.
Pet-sitter will host a free 1-hour consultation with pet parent prior to hiring. Details pertaining to all pet care needs, tasks & services will be discussed in full detail including; location of pet food, cleaning supplies, pet routine & schedule, medical attention, first aid or prescription administration, pet behaviors, how to use alarm system, code or key to enter home, emergency procedures, basic grooming needs, trash removal, take in mail or packages, may expect other service staff in home, instructions to take pet to Veterinarian or Groooming appointments, and other pet related issues.
Fees will be paid at time of hire. Pet parent will receive a copy of the signed agreed contract.
If other fees incur while pet parent is away, such as: emergency trip to Veterinarian, pet parent requests pet sitter to stay on longer, provide extra tasks or services that were not originally agreed upon, pet-sitter needed to purchase extra food, litter, cleaning supplies or medications or other needed items, pet parent agrees to pay for any and all extra fees with proof of purchase receipt to pet parent upon arrival date home. Pet parents agree to pay any and all transportation fees related to pet care such as taxi pet to Veterinarian or Groomer, or going out to make pet related purchases. Transportation fee starts at $15 and up depending on distance driven.
Pet parent will provide current Veterinarian records for all pets.
Pet parent will provide pet food, water, pet supplies, equipment, snacks, treats, toys, R/X or over the counter medication or other medical related supplies for pet, cleaning supplies, proper containment for pet if needed, leash, collar with tags, cat litter & litter box, bowls, and pet bedding.
Pet parent will inform pet sitter at least 24 - hour notice of other persons that may be at their home prior to pet sitters arrival or while pet sitter is at the home.
Pet sitter will bring in mail & receive package deliveries with owners written & signed permission.
No refunds on pet parent arriving home early. Time is reserved and cannot be resold.
No refunds on cancellations less 7-day notice. A 25% surcharge is deducted from refund issued prior to 7-day cancellation to cover business expenses.
Elite Pet Sitting will provide pet parent at least 24-hour notice if pet sitter is unable to provide service. Elite Pet Sitting will strive to provide another pet sitter or issue a full refund to pet parent if another pet sitter cannot be provided.
Contracts, fees & policies may be amended at any given time to protect both parties and for safety and liability issues.
Privacy Promise
Elite Pet Sitting promises to never sell or distribute any info about you individually without your express permission, and we promise not to pepper you with email. This website is hosted by a reputable service that uses industry-standard security safeguards. The host is not authorized to use any information you provide under any circumstances. That said, we cannot be responsible for errors or negligence on the part of the hosting service. Please note that your information may be transfered if there is a sale, merger, transfer, exchange, or other disposition of Elite Pet Sitting.
Elite Pet Sitting contains links to other web sites with which we are not affiliated. The links on all of these pages were selected by us, and we always exercise care when selecting web sites with which to link. Once you leave our site through a link to another site, we cannot responsible for the content of that site and you are subject to the privacy policy of that site. But you knew that, right?
Order Processing
We use PayPal to process all orders. You can pay with any major credit card or from your PayPal account if you have one. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.
Our Links Policy
We will link to your website if it is related to pets or the Galena area and if we think it will be of interest to our customers. We might consider other topics if we think our customers will be interested.
We will not link to you if your content or advertising includes animal abuse, pornography, hate, violence, support for violent or discriminatory groups or illegal activities, or other material we deem offensive.
Your site must be informative, accurate, original, well designed, and well maintained. Please do not submit sites that are under construction. Wait until it is complete.
You should be willing to link back to us although reciprocal linking is not required. When links to us are removed, we reserve the right to do the same.
We reserve the right to decline to link to you if we deem you to be a competitor.
We reserve the right to reject any links at our discretion without explanation.
To help us prepare your link, please submit a sentence or two describing your site. We reserve the right to edit the description.
If we link to you, listings are usually arranged alphabetically. Occasionally we will give a prime position to a site we think is special.
